9/28/02..Here is where it all started. I found a Kolb FireFly on the net that the owner had just barely started for a reasonable price and upon making the deal, went to Atlanta to pick it up. Then, on the way home via London, Ky. to the annual Kolb builders annual fly-in, which just happened to be on that weekend, and was not far out of the way on the trip home!

At the New Kolb Company, they were very friendly, and I talked to several builders, gleaning all the advice I could get. They were also kind enough to look thru my parts boxes to see if there was anything missing. There was not, which was a great relief! My brother and I sure enjoyed our visit to the Kolb company, and they had a really fine feed that evening, including several homemade desserts that probably just about grounded several pilots there! I had some Banana split cake made by Linda from Kolb that was just fabulous! She even sent me the recipe later on that week!, talk about service! These people are fantastic!

OK, now back home to Illinois, and a new project beginning the 1st of Oct. 2002
