| Welcome to The Barony of Darkmoon, an Amtgard group under the Empire of the Iron Mountians located in Colorado Springs. We meet every Saterday in Palmer Park (N. Acadimy and Maizeland) around noon. (or at least by 1:30) What is Amtgard? Amtgard is a non-profit , non-sectarian group devoted to recreating elements of the medieval, anciant, and fantacy genres. Amtgard is both recreational and educational, with major group efforts devoted to recreations of medieval and fantacy combat as will as arts and sciances.. Amtgard weapons are always safe. constructed of fome to replicate the real thing. Any one over the age of 14 may participate(wievers must be signed buy all members). Those under 14 may participate after they get thier parants/gardians as well as the monarchs permision. What is Darkmoon? that's us, a sub-group or the the Empire of the Iron Mountains, we are smaller and more familly orianted. come out and see us. What is The Empire of the Iron mountains? The Iron Mountains is a kingdom level group with in the realm of Amtgard. They are centered in denver however we have a floating croun so the seat of power can be in any sub-group with in 150 miles of denver. CONGRADS.
