| I have always been a fan of westerns, I think I get that from my father, who would watch them all the time. So it was only natural that I would also want to play westerns. I have played many different rules sets for westerns, but have found sets that I usually play the most. One set is calles "The Rules With No Name". These are a set of skirmish rules, that are quick to learn, and a lot of fun. My friends and I have a lot of fun with this one. The other set that I have played the most is Deadlands: The Great Rail Wars. This one is based on the Deadlands RPG, and is great fun also. It is termed the "weird west" and while it is western based, it also contains gothic and horror elements as well, such as, mad scientists, and undead gunmen. I would definitely recommend either of these for the beginner or advanced wargamer. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

| These are a couple more special characters unique to Deadlands. The Mad Scientist (left), and a Huckster, who is a gamble/magician. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| These are some Indian Scouts, and I made some Buffalo Soldiers as well. I need a couple more though for a full squad. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
