As a fairly strong chess player [FIDE Master, International FIDE rating: 2416 - National German rating: 2386 - chasing the International Master title (2 Norms)] I see it as my duty to offer players of all ages and strengths my service as a chess tutor if they are seriously willing to work on their chess skills. However, it is obvious that I cannot do this for free, and therefore have to take a fee to cover my expenses. They aren't too high, though (that's at least what I think), and if you are interested in taking chess lessons (different possibilites are stated below), just contact me via ICC, ICQ (#111924961) or e-mail.

For those of you who want to improve their chess and need some advice to do this, I offer special online lessons via ICC ("Internet Chess Club" - see my ICC Intro Page if you do not know it yet), the best online chessclub worldwide with many different features and tools. Here is a list of my different services (for a detailed description click the single links [will be uploaded soon]): One lesson (usually 1h long) w/ a transcript (unedited copy) - 20$ One lesson (usually 1h long) w/ a transcript (edited copy) - 25$ One lesson (usually 1h long) w/ a full worked out script - 30$ One lesson (usually 1h long) w/ a full worked out script + instuctive games - 35$ Some people may think that these prices are too high. Well, I don't think so, and let me explain why: Try to imagine what it takes to make a good lessons. First of all, I need to examine your recent games to see what your needs are. That takes some time. After that, I need to collect material that I need for preparing the lessons (books, online sources etc.). Again, that takes some time. Then, after collecting the material, I have to prepare the actual lesson, which (yes, you may already have guessed it) takes some time. Doing the lesson itself, right, takes some time. And after the lesson, if requested, I make a script so students can get back to it and read things we already did in out lessons. And that takes some time also. And now try to sum up, how much time that actually takes. If you want to do a good job (and you can bet that I want to do that), theses things can easily take 2-3 hours. An easy calculation shows, that this is about 10$/hour. You still think that is too much? Well, then I can't help you, good luck finding someone who will work for less.

Semester is finished, so I have more time now to teach YOU! Some students of me already made a fixed appointment (which you can see in the schedule by "booked up"). In some cases I can make exceptions and schedule dates for days where I already might be "booked up", but please try to find dates on days where I am available yet. --- Days in red mean you cannot make appointments for those days. --- All times are given in GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).
still available (11am-5pm)
I also offer other various services for those who are not interested to study regularly but want to work from time to time. Check my "Site for more general offers" here

Introduction:
I am an official ICC vendor. That means, ICC Members can pay me online in checkels (If you are not familiar with this, read "help checkels" on ICC).
Below you can see my training schedule. It will be updated weekly (every Saturday evening, 8pm GMT), but I recommend that you fix certain dates, it will be less complicated for both of us. Please note that you can only set times for lessons for the next week, so please contact me right in time. Since I now concentrate on seriously helping players to improve, there is only ONE lesson slot per day! So hurry and reserve your spot!
