Since
1971, when Curlies were first registered by the newly formed American
Bashkir Curly Registry, Arabian horses have been used to improve our
Curly horses. When contemporary owners and breeders of foundation
bloodline Bashkir Curlies decry the practice of out crossing, they
often forget that many of those self same foundation Curlies were
1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 Arabian.
Many
early Curlies were the get and grand-get of Nevada Red 18125, a
chestnut CMK bloodline Arabian whom the Dameles of Nevada used at
stud for many seasons. His sons include the highly influential sires

anyone deny the lasting influence of his daughters +Primadonna
