Crosstown Jazz members include our featured vocalist, Susan Kraft, who can play a mean trombone on swing and jazz instrumentals. Kathy Ackermann, composer and arranger, performs on keyboard with the group and as a soloist. Our featured improviser, Terry Foster, dazzles listeners with her technique on flute, tenor sax, and alto sax. Tim Fellenz wails on trumpet and gets the crowd dancing with his rock vocals. Tim Almeroth plays drums and entertains with his vocal renditions of Sinatra-style standards. Bassist Bill Snyder keeps everyone grooving and swinging.
Recent engagements include performances at the Cherokee Town and Country Club, the Norcross Hilton, Cartersville Country Club, W Hotel, the Omni Hotel, Vinings Jubilee, Galyans Customer Event, Founders Hall, Druid Hills Country Club, LaGrange Country Club, Athens Botanical Gardens and other venues throughout the metro Atlanta area.
