The Future of YWAM Croatia

YWAM Croatia has been registered and operating as an international Christian educational organization in the Republic of Croatia since December 1993. It was the first permanent, full-time, long-term YWAM location in the former Yugoslavia.

In the past YWAM Croatia has had many short term projects. This has included hosting a number of outreach teams from various nations. Activities have included public performances of concerts, dramas and mimes and the gospel presentation on some of the city's main squares. Teams have gone to orphanages and hospitals to entertain as well as present the gospel message. The long-term team is investing much of their time in Intercession, training, music ministry, etc. In the future we hope to see a nationwide Christian music radio station for youth and a music school for Christian musicians started, have regular Discipleship Training Schools and have a number of Croatian Christians involved in short-term national and international outreach/mission projectsThe long-term team is investing much of their time in Intercession, training, music ministry, etc.

YWAM Croatia's goals: Mission Statement: "We exist to evangelize, disciple and mobilize the people of Croatia and other nations, and to increase international awareness of Croatia and its spiritual needs"

We aim to achieve the above through:

  • Intercession and spiritual warfare within and atmosphere of praise and worship. We encourage others, in Croatia and elsewhere, to join us in battling for this nation in prayer.
  • Formal and informal discipleship
  • Personal evangelism
  • Music Ministry
  • Partnership with local churches and other Christian organization
  • Radio Ministry

    STAFF NEEDS
    We are currently seeking new staff to join us here at YWAM Croatia. Current staff needs include:Musicians, Youth workers, Radio ministry staff, Communications, Fund Raising.

    All YWAM Staff must have successfully completed a YWAM Discipleship Training School before being accepted as full time staff. None of the staff receives salary and all are expected to raise their financial support before joining the team.
