The Craigie Crawlers Hillwalking Club was formed in 1997 by staff from Craigie High School in Dundee who shared an interest in hillwalking and the great outdoors.
Since then, membership has been boosted by a number of staff from other schools as well as friends from outwith education. Day walks are arranged every few weeks and there are several weekend trips during the year. In the past, the club has travelled across Scotland, trips including stays at Dundonnell (An Teallach / Fannichs), Glenmore (Cairngorms), Inchnadamph (Conival, Ben More Assynt), Roybridge (Laggan hills), Kinlochleven (Mamores, Ben Nevis, Aonach Eagach) and Skye (Cullins).
