Tower 23

Tower 23 was a club I started up back in '91 with Francesca Bianchi, Carlo Scarfone and believe it or not, Dj Diego, though he left after a few weeks. It was hard work, and totally voluntary. Yeah, read that again. We made no cash. It was every Wednesday night and we brought Roma kicking and screaming into the nineties with music like Skinny Puppy, NIN, Revolting Cocks, Ministry, Nitzer Ebb, DAF, Front 242, Frontline Assembly and alike. No-one else was playing it, and the public hated it... It took about a year for the club to take off, another year and we called it quits. It was fun. I'll get some photos up as soon as I can and describe how we made music in a 100 year old fortress.
