Mt. Diablo
Dip
(Cindy & Iona’s
recipe)
1 lg. Sour cream
1 pkg. Taco seasoning
mix
1 can chopped green
chiles
1 jar or can of
chili salsa
Guacamole (fresh
or ready made)
4 green onions,
chopped
4-6 tomatoes, chopped
½ lb. Jack
cheese, grated
½ lb. Cheddar
cheese, grated
4 small cans of
diced olives
1. Mix sour cream
with taco seasoning,
add green chilis
and ½ can of salsa. Chill this mixture.
2. Layer the following:
Guacamole mixture
(if using ready made, it takes about 2 containers)
Balance of salsa.
Chill this mixture.
3. Layer the following:
Chopped green onions
½ of both
types of cheese
Tomatoes
The rest of the
cheese
Top with the chopped
olives
Serve with tortilla chips.
