My earliest memories of the Soo Line come from him. They lived right across the street from the Soo Line yard on Miner Ave in Ladysmith WI. Grandpa worked on the " road crew " until he had a stroke and then worked at a " flag shanty" until his death. They used the shantys to stop vehicle traffic. I remember going down there and watching the trains go flying past.
I am looking for any photo's of old Steam or Diesel Loco's from any of the Soo related lines. Especially anything from Ladysmith Wi. or Rusk County area.
