The most tolerant sentient beings on earth have undoubtedly been the non-humans, be it a plant, animal or a microbe. Any one would agree on that. The next most tolerant, that is, among the humans, have been the Hindus. Any uprising against the Hindu dharma and they have tolerated it with the view that the opponents are ignorant. The root of Hinduism is of course, tolerance and enlightenment, the removal of ignorance. But, now, it is not a question of tolerance or offence. It has become a question of dharma. The very dharma of our land that Lord Sri Krsna had come and firmly set up had started deteriorating with His leaving the human form and has now reached such low depths that one cannot ignore it any more. It is the duty of all of us, enjoined by our Hindu customs to restore dharma and guard it fervently with all our might and even be prepared to die protecting it. This is only a small gesture to protect dharma, restore it and give it its rightful place in the world.
