A six-piece band dedicated
to preserving a true American Art form... THE BLUES! The Continental Walk
plays not only jump/swing blues, but also mixes in R&B, jazz and 70's soul.
The
Continental Walk utilizes the talents of some of New England's most
prolific blues artists:
Mike
DiBari (guitar/vocals)
Timo
Arthur (guitar/vocals)
Jacques
Raymond (bass)
Stan
Johnson (trumpet)
Barry
Fleischer (tenor/baritone sax)
Greg
"The Hammer" Roberts (drums)
The
Continental Walk is fortunate to feature one of New England's premier blues
performers, Sweet Willie D. Willie's passion to sing comes from hard times
(growing up one of thirteen children) and weekly choir singing in the Baptist
churches of South Jersey. In 1975, Willie found himself getting his first
taste of the blues at the local juke joints in San Antonio, Texas. This
was a premonition of a career in blues 20 years later. He is a treasure to
the band and to the Boston Blues Community.
Check
out this dynamic artist and band. Pure enjoyment!
