As I was reading recently I found a cause
that I will be donating to. The cause is
Honor Flight
It was created to help WWII veterans visit the
WWII Memorial
that was recently created for them in Washington, DC. If there is any one group
that we owe
a lot to it is these people. My Dad served in WWII in the Pacific. I would of
loved to have
him see this memorial. The WWII Memorial does allow you to search for and enter
people
who served during WWI, and if you need to do that then look
here Please if you can donate

New in 2008 - The DC "Mall"
courts recently got new beach sand on most of the courts. The courts
were dug out in this process. These courts are much better then they have ever
been!
They are collecting to help pay for this and other improvements to the courts.

for the men's intercollegiate volleyball team. Tax-deductible donations used exclusively

Jessica Murphy was a lovely, lively, talented young lady. She was an avid athlete with a
love for volleyball. Jessica was a front seat passenger in a car that got hit by a
tractor-trailer
on August 26, 1999. Jessica died the following day from injuries sustained in that
accident.
Her family wants to carry on Jessica's name and make neither her life nor her death be in
vain. To this end they have established a memorial scholarship in Jessica's name at
Governor
Thomas Johnson High School where she was a student. You can make a contribution to The
Jessica Murphy Memorial Scholarship Fund c/o The Community Foundation, 312 East
