The Original CL Webpage has been Archived.

Welcome to the Chantilly Lace Homepage.

This page is dedicated to the controversy  involving the American Morgan Horse Association (AMHA) and its Board of Directors over the falsely registered horses bred by B. Ekstrom who were retained in the Registry until 2002 in the face of overwhelming evidence of their improper registrations. The general membership regards the handling of this issue from 1998 to the present as an indictment of the governance of AMHA as an organization.

Current Standing of the Issue

Bruce Ekstrom and the falsely registered CL offspring have been suspended from the Registry. This decision is under appeal from a group of financially aggrieved owners who care more about their horses retaining their false papers for financial and status reasons than they do that those horses are not full-blood Morgans entitled to those papers.
