First a little about myself I am 52 years old and I have been on the radio for years
and a member of the ALFA TANGO GROUP since 1989 and I took up the
post of the director for Staffordshire in 1993.
I live in the city of Stoke-on-Trent which is in north Staffordshire
about 40 miles south of Manchester and 50 miles north of Birmingham.
I live about 2 miles from the birthplace of Reginald Mitchell the Designer of the
spitfire aeroplane who was born in Buttlane near Kidsgrove.
My city is well known for the pottery industry most famous of them is
Wedgewood, Royal Doulton and Spode.
My city is made up of six towns Hanley,Stoke,Burslem,Tunstall,Longton
and Fenton. |
