   I am fascinated by Ranma, the idea a gender changing individual makes me chuckle with the possibilities of just how confused his/her life could be. Of course, this idea isn't truly new, Marion Zimmer Bradley presented this idea (in a serious science fiction book) in one of her books from her 'Darkover' series in the late 1960's. Ranma is a lot more fun though.
     In January '98 I wrote my first fanfic, 'Life Choices'. It was a reaction to just how unfair Ranma's life does get, so I set out to 'fix' everything. The story is still unfinished even though I have an outline of the potential story line. Some how my outlines don't survive the actual story writing. The story outline is found at the end of the last finished chapter. I doubt that I'll finish this story.
    I like to surf for Ranma fanfiction and occasionally one of those stories will spark my imagination.   I wrote 'Kikuko' to see if I could achieve an unlikely matchup I saw in another story. The goal was to try not to get too OOC while doing it.. It was the first Ranma fanfic that I actually finished.(Oct 2000)
    The second Ranma fanfic that I finished was 'Ranko's Honor'. It was a sort of musing about whether or not there could have been a specific purpose behind Ranma's curse. Considering a sequel.

Three of my sons introduced me to Ranma over Christmas '97 and I immediately became a fan. So much so that I even wrote a few fanfics. By the way, I write only for my own pleasure and to annoy my kids - humm, though that's a bit redundant as it's fun to annoy my kids anyway.

I decided to explore the idea of another Tendo match-up other than Akane, 'Nabiki's Honor' was the result. I have roughly outlined three books in this story arc though the first book could be considered a prequel to the second which is story development and third book is more of an action sequel than anything else. Parts of the first two books are written. The third book is now little more than a series of ICQ conversations between my sons and myself at this point (not available) I may finish this one at some point, but not anytime soon..

Several other fanfic writers have explored the idea of a divergence at the start of the Ranma saga. I decided to give it a try as well, "Ranma's Honor' was the result. Might finish this one as it was kinda fun to write and think about. Just need some inspiration.

In April 2001, I finished "Golden Lining", it's a Ranma (alternate/continuation) and Futaba-kun-change crossover, one of the few ones out there. It's the third fanfic that I've completed in as many years of writing..    Shortly afterwards, I started a new Ranma/Sailor Moon crossover fanfic "Sailor Mom?" (to chap 4), it's a bit low on the writing priority list now. If I do resume work on it, I may write it in parallel with Ranma's Honor as a sort of 'his & hers' perspective on the same events since in both cases, Ranma is living with Nodoka. Still working ocassionally on a story called 'Angel Trainee' involving some Ranma look-alikes and a long traing trip for Ranma-chan. It has two books and book one, 'The Trip' is to chap 6, while book Two, 'The Return', has two chapters, the second is incomplete.. As of Nov '03, I resolved my approach an added a few paragraphs to it.

Here's a short story dedicated to all those irritated readers who complain that I 'always' write the same kind of stories that 'always' etc. Jeez, they can 'always' go elsewhere too, so, enjoy "Where I Came From." - the fourth story I've finished (Dec 2001) so far.

I was blocked in my other writing a while back so I explored a WoT xover. The first two chapters of   "Far Dareis Mai Ranma" have been updated and chapter three added Jan '04

Had and idea and wrote a story around it. It's called 'Chaotic Future'. It's a Ranma-chan story crossed over with 'Ah, My Goddess' and the 'Sailor Scouts' cast as pseudo villians (complete 12 June '03: chapters one, two, three, four, five, six & seven).

Was feeling sad, decided to write something W&F about Nabiki and Ranma alternative to cheer me up - Lonely Match is the result; chapters: pro, one, two, three, four, five, six,      [on indefinite hold due to real life kicking shit out of my muse].

Decided to test an idea for a Ranma-Sailor Moon crossover, couldn't resist adding a couple of chapters of The Earth Princess. (chapters: one, two, three, .four, . . . .)

As a kid down in Louisiana I loved to watch the thunderclouds roil overhead while I lay on the grass and day-dreamed of stories I hoped to write some day. Hence, Cloud Dreamer.

Sigh, I never wrote those stories. Did become a graduate engineer (MS) in the nuclear industry. Was married for thirty-three years with six kids. My only daughter is a petite redhead who was born while we were in Japan.
