| Welcome to the web site for City Park Tennis Club of New Orleans, Louisiana. This men's tennis club (there is a similar club for women - the Orleans Women's Tennis Club) is based in beautiful City Park in mid-city New Orleans. If you would like more information about this club e-mail Richard Sasser or print out and complete an application and leave it at the pro shop or mail it to the indicated P.O. Box. Dues for the club are $300 per year (July 1 - June 30). The club also has a junior membership for young men who are students. The dues are $84 per year. Some students may be eligible to become members under our Adopt-a-Junior program. |

| Our club is saddened by the death of one of our most respected long time members, John Cocchiara. John, 82, passed away while playing tennis at City Park. Our sympathies go to his wife, Audrey, and their four children. Services will be held at Lakelawn Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, Friday, June 6 at 10:00, with visitation starting at 9:00. John's daughter, Joy, has indicated that, in lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to City Park, a facility that the entire family has enjoyed for many years. Our sympathies also go to Martin Manthey who lost his mother last week. Please keep both families in your thoughts and prayers. |
