The Cincinnati Veterinary Technicians          Association (CVTA) is a group of veterinary para-professionals that prides itself on continuing education and promotion of knowledge of our careers and what we contribute to animal medicine, research, and education.

The CVTA meets every other month from   September to May, with a brief hiatus each summer.

Each meeting is recognized by the Ohio Veterinary Medical Licensing Board (OVMLB) for continuing education credits equal to each hour of the lecture topic.  This ensures that veterinary technicians who have taken the time and effort to register in the State of Ohio with the Board can keep up their registration requirements of a minimum of 10 continuing education hours every biennium.

The CVTA also has representation with the Ohio Association of Veterinary Technicians (OAVT), district 3S.

We welcome any veterinary technicians in the Greater Cincinnati Area to join the association.  Veterinary or Laboratory technicians, technologists, or animal nurses outside of the GCA are welcome to contact us anytime.
