FALL CIMARRON REGION NEWS
JC Advisor Report:
Congratulations to ALL the C candidates who met in Stillwater September
29-October 1 for a C rating. It takes lots of time, study and riding to get
where you are, and I think that I can speak for the region by saying we were
very proud of all of you for "laying it on the line." Our C3s who went for
their B this summer should also be congratulated for all of their efforts!
Keep up the good work and keep progressing in your knowledge and skill!
With that said, the Cimarron Region recognizes these new C1s: Lucy Murphy,
Bonet Girod, Rachel Edwards and Michol Miller, all of Sundance PC; and Sarah
Gillis of Will Rogers PC.
Congratulations to the region's newest C2s: Catie Tunnell and Katharine
Stroukoff, both of Sundance; and LeeAnna McNally of Golden Horseshoe PC.
Congratulations to the Cimarron Region's newest C3s: Lizzie Watkins, Lissa
Kelly and Ashley Williams, all from Boston Mountain PC.
Last but not least, USPC granted their highest rating, an A to Amanda Eggleston
from Sooner PC. This has been a "process" for her and a terrific achievement.
We are all very proud of her and very happy for her! Congratulations Amanda!
Watch the web page for details on the JC Weekend near Wichita.
According to RS Tamara Mayo, the Junior Council made enough money on the
D Rally, that there will be NO COST for the unmounted prep and pizza party.
We hope to see you there for this informative and fun weekend!

Junior Council Weekend!!!
President's News
Hey - all you C Pony Clubbers in Cimarron Region! You know how we talked
about doing something this year that was fun and non-competitive? Something
that we could do to get to know each other better with NO pressure.... Well,
its coming together thanks to a lot of good organizing from the Meadowlark
PC and the region.
The Junior Council made enough money when we sponsored the D Rally that we
get to have a Junior Council Weekend near Wichita on November 18-19 so mark
your calendars now! We will do a prep at the Bowles home with Jennifer Mosier,
a "young" graduate HA from Abilene, Kansas. She has just returned from spending
much time in Canada with a prominent dressage rider as a working student
and employee. She'll have a lot to share with us, plus we can do "hands on"
stuff (i'm guessing) in the Bowles barn. That night we'll have a pizza party.
Plan to bring your pictures from C Camp, or horse shows, horse trials, new
horses, prom, etc. to catch all of us up on what you've been doing.
Sunday morning we will have our business meeting from 10 a.m. to Noon while
the adults finish the Leadership Seminar. Think of things you want to do
next year in the Cimarron Region. Remember, next year is Festival and I hope
we can show the USPC where the Cimarron Region is - just like the Tetrathlon
team did this summer! We have so much going for us, especially the support
of the region! Hope to see you all in Wichita! More later as I get the details.
