This page was created to help keep the community informed about the activities both of the Dewey Fire Co. No. 1 and the community of Hellertown, Pa.

    The Dewey Fire Company is a not-for-profit organization located in Hellertown, Pennsylvania, USA. It was founded in 1898 after a rash of fires in Hellertown and the surrounding area. Its main purpose is to provide fire and rescue protection for the Borough of Hellertown and provide emergency medical services for the Borough of Hellertown and the Township of Lower Saucon. It provides the services at minimal to no cost to its members.

    The company is made of up of 3 different membership classes: active, social, and contributing members. Active and contributing members make up the voting members of the company, with all fire department and ambulance squad members being active or contributing members.

    The Officers of the Company are as follows:
