Hey.

Lately I've been doing silly little things in MAME like fixing save-states.

Someday, however, I hope to gain a better mastery of my main interest in the MAME project - game machine architecture. With any luck, what I'm doing now are baby-steps towards a MAMEdev-like understanding of the guts of these memories from our past, but, well, who knows how far I'll get. Only time will tell...

At least I'm having fun.

...

Aren't us geeks odd?

   MAME Save-State fixes. (24/7/04)
They're fun to fix, but hard to find.

SEGA Model 1 TGP Observations (24/7/04)
I've been looking at /machine/model1.c a bit lately. This is what I've learned thus far...

   Buriki One's 3d Data (8/31/04)
Awhile back, I successfully decoded the 3d data for a yet-unemulated Hyper Neo Geo 64 game. It looks like Haze has got things moving along quite nicely these last few days on the HNG64 front, so I figured now would be a good time to post my findings. This page documents the few simple things I know in case someone wants to tackle the 3d side of HNG64 before I return from a small vacation (and if someone doesn't figure the 3d hardware out before I get back, I might attempt to take a crack at it myself).
