Who Is This Mystery Lady?

For the last 50 years, the lady in this picture has no identity.
Was she the wife of a fallen soldier?
A girlfriend of a soldier in Korea who never made it back home and died in a Chinese POW camp?
Will we ever know her name or the name of the owner of her photo?
Her picture was found at the Chosin (Changin) Reservoir , or on the last hill of Hagaru-ri, in North Korea in late November or early December of 1950. The original picture was found by B.L. Tomek, 1st Sargeant with 7th Division, 31st Infantry Division, Tank Co, he found the picture on a body of a Chinese soldier.

Mr. Tomek has spent years searching for the owner, or for the lady in the photograph. He would like to return the photo. Please E-mail me at the address below with any information.
