Tom's Home Page

Hi, I'm Tom.

This page is about

Vatican City stamps, what I have and what I'd like to have:

Here's what I have:

Romagna Every stamp, some mint, some used, #2 used on folded letter sheet.

The Pontifical State (inaccurately referred to as the Papal States or the Roman States) #1-25, some mint, some used, some multiples, some used on folded letter sheets (exhibiting 22 different town cancellations so far)--shades, shades, shades. I hope they're all genuine--I've taken great care studying the characteristics of genuine issues.

Vatican City mint and complete up to and including 1981 with the exception of some printing and perforation varieties and some revenue varieties. Most used as well. Some errors and varieties.

All stamp-imprinted postal cards mint up to 1981.

All Airletter Sheets mint up to 1981.

First Day Covers - many before 1959, all between 1959 and 1981. First Day Covers between 1959 and 1981 with Golden Series cachets only. Some Postal Cards and Airletter Sheets with first day cancels as well.

Hundreds of souvenir and flight covers, including first flights and helicopter flights. Many commercial cards and covers. A few Last Day of Validity Covers.

Many assorted items after 1981, even a couple of coins.

Holy Year - worldwide collection of stamps, cancellations, postal stationery, and postcards.
