.polaroid project 2005
hello. i am not really sure what this polaroid project is about, i only know that it is very expensive and amusing. i was sitting in transit in kuala lumpur at the end of 2004, flipping through 'another magazine' [fashion + arts rag] and one of the articles featured marine hugonnier, an artist who took a polaroid a day for i-know-not-how-long. so armed with a polaroid camera and a love of photography, i decided to go where many have tread before. a-polaroid-a-day project, here i am!
so kids, this is it. the polaroid project waves a sad goodbye in october. yes my heart is sinking too, but i feel as if i have taken all the pictures i can for the project. there will be a tear-filled puddle in my bag where the polaroid camera used to sit and an emptiness to my days. thank you for taking this ride with me and i trust you enjoyed it as much as i did. now you go and snap some pictures!
