Chicago ADAPT stands alone in it's accomplishments within the community of people with disabilities in and around Illinois. We pride ourselves on our stand toward equality amongst people with disabilities and the non-disabled community.

One of our largest steps towards equality is within the small word called "choice". Throughout the years, people with disabilities have had a difficult time with that word. People with disabilities have been subjected to tremendous barriers to life choices in the past and we still fight for those choices.

Within this website you'll read of such issues, personal testamonies, actions Chicago ADAPT has initiated, rallies Chicago ADAPT has led, and legislative issues we've pushed for...and WON! You'll also find out about our most recent efforts and what you can do to help in advocacy.

Additionally, we hold very entertaining fundraisers throughout the year, not to mention the merchandise we sell to raise some funds. Please take the time and browse through our site and learn about what people with disabilities have gone through and are going through in the community.
