Welcome to the Chester Fife & Drum Corps web page. Our Corps was founded in 1868. We hold the prestigious distinction of being the oldest continually active corps in the country!
We practice on Thursday evenings starting at 6:30 p.m. at the North Quarter Park in Chester, CT. At 6:30 begins our beginner lessons in both fife and drum. Approximately 30 minutes later we move onto more advanced lessons and progress from there to  corps practice/ jam with all the sections. This is where we can learn new pieces and practice marching also. Chester Fife & Drum Corps does not collect any dues or annual fees, we feel that giving lessons is a way to enhance the township that we hale from and also a way to make history interesting for children and adults alike.
We would love to have more members join us, the more the merrier! As always we are keeping our eyes open for paid parades/jobs simply because our new uniforms unfortunately will not pay for themselves. :)
