Their world is very much like our world. They move around in space and occasionally meet. If they like each other they form new chemicals. If they do not then they part as friends. The couple will then move along together until they come across someone else. New chemicals are then formed.

Unlike humans, the atoms and molecules, are very orderly. They obey the rules very strictly so much so that you can predict what is to happen and it will happen. There is no cheating. All we need to do in science is to study the rules in their world and we will know exactly how atoms and molecules behave.
