cheers disco-pub,
located in the heart
of yerevan city(just a few hundred meters north of republic square,
on 48, nalbandian street), is the place where tourists, ex-pats, diasporan and local armenians meet everyday and night.
formerly the famous "ginetoun"(winehouse- in armenian), the place is remodelled as a western style bar in armenian settings with a dance floor on one side and little restaurant
on the other.
the restaurant is open everyday at 12:00 for food and a quick beer or coffee, with air conditioning on for summer and winter(a thing you defenitely need in armenia).
the whole club is open everynight at 19:00.
"cheers!!" bar in yerevan is known as "the craziest club in armenia".
and crazy it is .
unlike other clubs , which are more like restaurants with dance floors and mirrors, here you can feel at home by sitting and dancing and drinking wherever you want to and the way you want to.
beer; a big veriaty of local(kotayk,kilikia and erebouni-our best), and international famous brands(heineken, miller, budweizer, budwar, corona, baltica, murphey's, guinness, becks, holsten and more...)
drinks;
almost all famous drinks
of the world...
cocktails; from classic "cuba libre" and "screwdriver" to the newest "fire in baghdad", "surfing on acid" ,
"adios mother f----r" and our own
"sex on sevan's beach"
and "vako's magic".
music; even though our music is more on the classic rock side, when it gets busy we play almost everything!!!!! from 60's and 70's rock and reggae till modern rap, hip-hop, alternative and electronic music. from armenian to greek , from gypsy to indian...everything except turkish music.
staff; young , energetic and "crazy".
toilet; only one(keep the line please!!!!) and after 10 p's
don't forget to ask for your free beer.
cuisine; now that the restaurant is open next door, we have a great menu of
armenian and european food,
plus starters and salads.
darts; yes we have a dartboard in our bar (and it's the only one in a bar in yerevan
...as far as we know)
security; you as a foreigner or a local just think about drinking and dancing
and having fun,
