This quilt block is very easy. I was not a quilter until I tried this block and found how easy quilting can be. We recommend using 100 % prewashed cotton fabric and 100% cotton thread. The focus fabric, which is the heart, can be any color or print. We originally started the project with red and purple hearts. The purple being used for CHDer's who have had a heart transplant. We are still using purple and purple prints for the transplant blocks but have moved away from having just red blocks. This gives us a chance to match the block to the individual the block is dedicated to. We have had some beautiful blocks come in. If you are interested in making more than one block for the project, please let us know. We are staying with the blue background fabric. Have Fun! *Warning: Quilting can be addictive!
