Hi everyone,
it's been a long time since this page has been updated and I want to thank everyone that has viewed this site in my MIA period.  Hopefully, I will have this page updated in the next few weeks, and keep it active again.
While I am at it, I also want to thank the guys at the Beamish Owners Club in the UK who were nice enough to add a link to this site.  They have a great site and I will be adding a direct link to their site as well.  If any of you have a Suzuki RL 250, or are thinking about one, you need to check out their site.
3 years ago I made a move from Birmingham to the Gulf coast, (living in Paradise might have a little to do with not updating this site). But paradise is a tricky lady, and as many of you know, on September 16, 2004 Hurricane Ivan decided it was time to come ashore head on into OB. Ivan was a very devastating storm for a lot of people here on the Alabama Gulf Coast, including myself. (I can tell you 1st hand what 130 MPH winds blowing outside the house for 6 hours at 3am sounds like)
And if Ivan wasn't bad enough, last year, as I am sure everyone knows, brought hurricane Katrina, that put 4 feet of water under the house, and Hurricane Rita, that only put about 18 updating under the house. Not only was the 05 hurricane season bad because of Katrina and Rita, but here in OB, 4 of the 1st 5 named storms struck the gulf coast within 50 miles of my house. The truth is that between work and last years storms, I haven't had time to think about Trials, or any motorcycle racing, let alone update this site.
Right now, I just wanted to let everyone know that we are putting the team and web page back up, but with a few changes. For the time being, it will stay here on Geo cities until I can arrange a bigger site. There will be some changes, such as removing the bad links, and adding several new links related to trials and trials bikes, as well as some cool new items I hope everyone will like.
And lastly, we will be changing the name from Chapter 11 Vintage racing, to  Hurricane Trials, which just seems to be more fitting living on a barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico.
Hopefully everyone will like the changes and new additions that will be added in the next few months. Until then keep your feet up, and I wish you a season free of 5's.

Pete

After showing up at a two day AHRMA National, and seeing five other RL250's done in white, I changed the color of the RL to Black and Red.   In the begining I had done the RL in white so it would not be like any other RL's.  When I saw the others in white, I just had to change the color.   I guess it is silly, but I don't want a bike that looks like all the others.

As I mentioned above, we will be changing the name to Hurricane Trials. The above picture was taken just before Hurricane Dennis came ashore about 50 miles east of Orange Beach.  Right up until an hour before landfall, Dennis was on a course that would have made Orange Beach ground zero again. But luckily, it decided to jog due north at the last minunte, and went ashore around Ft. Walton Florida.  At least the bird seemed to like the view.

Having trouble keeping your Rl from running too rich or too lean, one of the problems is that that 25 year old carb is just worn out. (Even new jets don't help) For you, B&J has this new Mukuni carb kit complete with adptor for round mount and pre jetted for the RL engine. I ran with this set up for the first time at Mid Ohio last year. I checked the Plug after each loop, and the color was perfect. it fact, I finished the season on that plug, and it still looks perfect.
This Brass flywheel weight is needed to allow the RL to poke through a section without high revs or stalling, if I had to do one thing to a stock RL, this is it.
B&J Foot Peg extentions, allow you to move around on bike with ease, and maybe even save some points.
Falcon Shocks... Bob Ginder is now the sole distributor and US manufacturer of Falcon Shocks
Bob has these shocks for all Vintage Trials bikes, and for my money, I will not ride a vintage bike without them ever again, they are that good.
