WELCOME to PAPAJI'S PHOTO PAGES. Because so many of you have been asking for new photos and a new Calendar, it was suggested to me to open a web page. Since I have never done this before, I am using Yahoo's Geocities free web pages. Unfortunately, you will have to access each of these first 5 pages individually.... but all of the new photos I had HAND PRINTED in Madras, at Ramana Labs, are here in these pages. At this time, however, I am not making a new Calendar.... But I have printed these photos to satisfy your longing for new images of PAPAJI.
To start with, for those of you who have come to these pages and do not know who PAPAJI is.... He is the LION OF LUCKNOW! PAPAJI or POONJAJI (HWL POONJA) is the MASTER that you have heard about who resided in Lucknow, India. PAPAJI was born, in the Punjab to Hindu parents, as a Jivan Mukta, grew up as a Krishna Bhakta....and was a recognized Jnani. He had His final Awakening in the Presence of Ramana Maharshi at Arunachala. PAPAJI gave Satsang around the world...and finally settled in Lucknow, India when His body could not travel so easily anymore. There He finally let people congregate around Him. He gave Satsang 5 days a week. His message was simple. "You are already FREE! Only you need to 'Keep Quiet' and 'Don't Think!' And in that quiet ask yourself, 'Who Am I'? Where is the SOURCE of this "I"?
And stay in that Source.

Most of the photos in these pages were taken by Chandi Devi during her years with PAPAJI 1992-1997. Those photos which were taken by other devotees, known and not known, come from negatives and slides which PAPAJI told Chandi to "keep with you". Of those where the people are still alive, permission has been granted to make the photos available.
