" Mazzi " ASCA, AKC Ch. Ragtimes Kamakazzi CD, STDd, DNAcp May 25, 1997 - September 30th, 2006
Goodbye Sweet Boy, We Love You. Jewel, Lacey, Derek & Teresa In Memory of Mazzi, we will remember him always... Mazzi was diagnosed with stage 3 lympho sarcoma in July of 2006. We have contributed samples to the CHIC DNA Repository to be stored for future research. Please submit samples on any available affected dogs. It's for the good of our breed. We have to make an effort to stop this horrible disease from taking our best friends.

Statement regaurding miniature and toy australian shepherds - crossbred designer dogs bred soley for profit. Recently there has been a rise in the movement to breed miniature and toy "versions" of the australian shepherd The miniature australian shepherd and the toy australian shepherd are not recognized OR considered varieties of the australian shepherd by the following organizations. - The American Kennel Club -The United Kennel Club -The Australian Shepherd Club of America -The Canadian Kennel Club -United States Australian Shepherd Assn. Since these dogs are not AKC,UKC,ASCA or CKC they cannot be verified as purebred, and therefore are not considered australian shepherds. Ragtime australian shepherds does not support the purposeful breeding of miniature australian shepherds or toy australian shepherds. We also feel that breeding away from the standard for a deminutive dog and misrepresenting themselves to the public for profit is inexcusable .
In loving memory of my "Baby Trucker" HOF ASCA Ch.Merribrooks Pickup Man DNAcp 1/29/96-6/19/09 It was with a very heavy heart last Friday my family Myself, Teresa, Lacey, Derek & David along with his many other close friends Jeremy, Victor, Dave, Aubrae & Addy, Anika, Paul, Vickie& Dirk, Ryan & Cara, Colleen, Jana, Betty, Marge, John, Nancy and Stephanie said goodbye to "The Big Truck", who was possibly one of the most fabulous dogs I have had the good fontune of spending my life with. He was my constant companion from the day he came to me until the day he left and I will always remember him with a smile. Note: Please refrain from any In Memory advertising in either the Aussie Times or the Journal. In Leiu I would prefer any donations be made in Truckers name to USASA Foundation for breed health research.
