We bid you welcome to this house.
It is a place which we love
and which we tend with care.
We do not ask what you believe
nor expect you to think the way we do.
We ask only that you try to live a kindly
helpful life, with the dignity
proper to a human being.
Welcome to all who believe that religion
is wider than any sect,
and deeper than any set of opinions.
And welcome to all
who would find in our friendship,
strength and encouragement for daily living.

The Affirmation of Faith

Love is the doctrine of this church,
The quest for truth is its sacrament,
And service is its prayer.
To dwell together in peace;
To seek knowledge in freedom;
To serve humanity in fellowship,
To the end that all souls may grow into harmony with the Divine;
Thus do we covenant with each other and with God.
