The Bahay Saliksikan ng Bulakan (Center for Bulacan Studies) is the venue for research and programs of the Bulacan State University on Bulacan's history, culture and various areas of Bulacan studies that are geared towards enhancing social unity and effecting community development.

Established in June 1998 to primarily promote Bulacan's history and cultural heritage, its initial activity together with the Samahang Pangkasaysayan ng Bulakan, Inc. was the convening of the 1998 International Conference on Malolos Congress to mark the celebration of the centenary of the first constituted Congress in Asia. Presently, it pursues researches and programs encompassing broader aspects of historical, cultural, and socio-political institutions of Bulacan.

A research center that effectively cultivates Bulakenyo's sense of place and nationalism, nurtures awareness of their history and pride in their cultural legacy towards productive participation in community affairs, and excels in useful scholarly pursuits that manifest the university's contribution to national development.

To deepen the Bulakenyo's understanding of their history and cultivate their appreciation of their cultural heritage; promote their involvement, together with the faculty members of the university, in relevant research on history, culture and other concerns of Bulacan, and contributes to development of social infrastructures towards community and national development.
