for proof of this. New York City's newest buzz band, The Izzys, play
solid, catchy songs that you hear, shake your ass to, and want to hear
again. Though they have become one of the hottest bands associated with
the New York scene, their sound is anything but derivative of the Gotham
bands that have come before them. Mixing garage rock with the best of
country and blues, they have a bulletproof rock 'n' roll sound with
harmonies, twang, and thunder.
