A green version of the last layout. It was filled with small codes, for the scrollable areas, and for the random appearing images. Character: Zidane.

The Kougaiji Layout, number 3 June 2003
This would be the last blog with the Kougaiji character, and the first one to use frames.
I tried for a much more simple look, one dominant colour, a pixelated feel to it.

The Kougaiji Layout, number 2 May 2003
The re-appearance of the blog, this time, re-named Notebox. I started experimenting many new elements: a tag board, a comments system, and a new version of the blog program.
The layout is a bit less excessive than the previous one, and has a shorter scope of colours. The character, though, is still the same.

O re-aparecimento do blog, desta feita, com o novo nome de Notebox. Comecei a experimentar novos elementos: um tag board, um sistema de comentários, e uma nova versão do programa de blog.
O layout é ligeiramente menos excessivo que o anterior, e com um menor número de cores. O personagem, no entanto, continua a ser o mesmo.

The Kougaiji Layout, number 1 ----, 2002
Again, an elaborated layout, this time, with a larger range of colours.
I started to give a bit more importance to the wallpapers section. Also, I discovered a thing called "photoshop brushes".
For several reasons (mostly related to Netcabo's incompetence) this layout would not be touched until the following year, 2003.
The main character, Kougaiji, comes from the manga Gensomaden Saiyuki.

Novamente, um layout mais elaborado, desta vez, com uma maior variedade de cores.
Comecei a dar um pouco mais de importancia à secção de wallpapers. Igualmente, descobri uma coisa chamada "photoshop brushes".
Por várias razões (sobretudo relacionadas com a incompetência da Netcabo) este blog não seria alterado até ao ano seguinte, 2003.
O personagem principal, Kougaiji, vem da manga Gensomaden Saiyuki.

A risky layout: dark colours, not much contrast between background and text, and a more complicated system of navigation.
The character was Yuki Eiri, from de anime Gravitation.

Um layout arriscado: cores escuras, não muito contraste entre texto e fundo, e um sistema de navegação mais complicado.

The Ran Layout --- , 2002
This layout was made when I started to use a bloggig program. Since then on, I whould no longer edit the entries via html.
The layout, is a very simple one: one single dominante colour, and just a simple navigation system.
The main character, was Ran, from Weiss Kreuz.

Este layout foi feito quando comecei a usar um programa de blog. A partir daí, eu não tornaria a editar os artigos via html.
O layout é bastante simples: uma única cor dominante, e um sistema de navegação bem simples.
O personagem principal, foi Ran, da anime Weiss Kreuz.

The Youji Layout May, 2002
Here is the most minimalist layout I ever did for this blog. Well, at least, it's kind of different from all the previous ones. In fact, the entire site suffered some changes. I've reorganized the sub-pages, such as the archive page, or the real blogs one...
And there is this new made menu, made in Fireworks. I hope it works ok.
As for the main character, another male: this time, Youji, from the anime Weiß Kreuz. And yes, that IS a MALE!

Aqui está o layout mais minimalista que já fiz para este blog. Bem, pelo menos, é algo diferente de todos os anteriores. De facto, o site sofreu algumas mudanças. Reorganizei as subpáginas, como a página de arquivo, ou a página de blogs a sério...
E ainda há um menu novo, realizado através do Fireworks. Espero que funcione bem.
Quanto ao personagem principal, outro masculino: desta vez, é o Youji, da anime Weiß Kreuz. E sim, É um HOMEM!

The Touya Layout April, 2002
This month starts with a new layout. It's the first layout with a masculine character to show up in this blog. I hope this is the first of many more to come;). I only have one small problem: this layout is excessively full with scribbles, almost baroque or something. My initial idea had nothing to do with this. I hope I get into a more minimalist phase soon...
The basic idea was to make some kind of a fusion between a Japanese image, and a Portuguese one, which is something I'm expecting to do from now on. This fusion ended up being a bit too subtle: the image behind the boy, named Touya, is a modern painting from a Portuguese artist… I also added some purple buttons at the top, with a sequence from the anime Card Captor Sakura, chained with said painting.
About Touya: he is part of Card Captor Sakura, and he is the main character's brother. He really enjoys bothering his sister. This character has another characteristic: the very friendly relationship he has with a male colleague, Yukito (I don't know if I'm making myself clear ^_~).

O Layout Touya Abril, 2002
Este mês abre com um novo layout. É o primeiro layout com um personagem do sexo masculino a figurar neste blog. Espero que seja o primeiro de muitos ;). Só tenho um pequeno problema: é um layout excessivamente cheio de arabescos, quase barroco ou qualquer coisa. A minha ideia inicial não era nada disto. Espero entrar numa fase mais minimalista em breve...
A primeira ideia era fazer uma espécie de fusão entre uma imagem de origem japonesa, e outra de origem portuguesa, o que espero fazer noutros layouts. Esta fusão acabou por ser um pouco subtil demais: a imagem de fundo por trás do rapaz, de nome Touya, é uma pintura moderna de um pintor português... Também acrescentei uns botões aroxeados no topo, onde surge uma sequência da anime Card Captor Sakura, entrecortada pelo tal quadro.
Sobre Touya: faz parte da anime Card Captor Sakura, e é irmão da personagem principal. Gosta imenso de aborrecer a irmã. Outra característica deste personagem, é a relação muito amigável que tem com um colega, Yukito (não sei se me estou a fazer entender^_~).

The Milly Layout Mars 2002
Here I have my first layout with layers... I'm don't feel very safe about this; I'm a lot more used to the security of a nice, stable, usual, boring table. These layer thing seem to be scattered peaces plastered on the screen, like their hanging on the vacuum... Really, I don't feel secure with this layer stuff. But I do like the way the flames go over that box up there.
This time, the character comes from the anime "Lost Universe", and she's named Milly. This is a bit of an unusual picture: although she has a fighting, strong personality, she seems to be in the highest of spirits most of the time, in her attempts to be the "best of the universe" (best detective, best shooter, best cooker, you name it). Here, she has a very serious conscious look. I can relate more to this picture.
About the site's colour scheme: well, after several colour studies, I couldn't find a scheme I particularly liked. So, I scaned an old Japanese painting and "captured" some tones.
The flame is from a dingbat font, that can be found at dingbatpages.

O Layout Milly Março de 2002
Aqui tenho o meu primeiro layout com layers. Não me sinto muito segura com isto; estou muito mais habituada à segurança de uma boa, estável, normal e aborrecida table. Esta coisa das layers parecem-me pedaços pegados ao écran, como se estivessem agarradas no vácuo... A sério, não este confiante nisto de layers. Mas gosto da maneira como as chamas passam por cima da caixa ali em cima.
Desta vez, o personagem vem da anime "Universo Perdido", e chama-se Milly. Esta é uma imagem invulgar: apesar de ela ter uma personalidade forte e lutadora, a maior parte do tempo parece estar sempre alegre, nas suas tentativas de ser "a melhor do universo" (melhor detective, melhor atiradora, melhor cozinheira, o que for). Aqui, ela tem um aspecto muito sério e compenetrado. Relaciono-me mais com esta imagem.
Sobre o esquema de cores do site: bem, depois de muitos estudos de cores, não conseguia encontrar nenhum esquema de cores de que gostasse particularmente. Por isso, scanei uma antiga pintura Japonesa, e "capturei" alguns tons.
A chama é de uma fonte dingbat, que pode ser encontrada nas dingbatpages.

The Tomoe Layout January, 2002
This is the second layout of this blog.
New elements showed up with the present layout. I have some new separators, with different "faces", characterizing the respective entry's contents, like this: for entries with a "caustic" like content, I use the "In cauda venenum" image; for more sincere and emotive entries, I use the "ab imo corde" image, and so on.
The placement of the Portuguese and English sides also changed; they used to be side by side. Now, they're divided by the "persona" bar.
The entire look of the site got somewhat more… elaborated. The colours are more diverse (the old one was mainly dominated by blue); in fact, the blog is now more graphically heavy: the old one only had 34k in total, while this one is now 58k! I hope this doesn't end up delaying the site's loading.
Some other thing: exceptionally, the main image was scanned and rearranged by me, and I actually did not "borrowed" a image from some site on the net >_<. In the editing, I used mostly Photo Paint, with some Photoshop for the all site composing.
Also, the layout was created for 800x600, but the first image, when seen in this resolution, seems to be quite big… this is because I'm starting to use the 1024x768 in my pc screen, and that is the resolution I am in while working with Photoshop…
I'm thinking of inserting a counter, too. Just so I can get depressed on how the number of people that actually came here is remarkably small, I guess.

O Layout Tomoe Janeiro de 2002
Este é o segundo layout deste blog.
Novos elementos surgiram no presente layout. Tenho uns novos separadores, com diferentes "caras", que caracterizam o conteúdo de cada artigo, assim: para artigos com um conteúdo mais "caustico", uso a imagem "in cauda venenum"; para artigos mais sinceros e emotivos, uso a imagem "ab imo corde", e por aí fora.
A colocação dos lados português e inglês também se alterou, eles costumavam estar lado a lado. Agora, estão divididos pela barra "persona".
Todo o "look" do site ficou algo mais... elaborado. As cores são mais variadas (o outro layout era dominado sobretudo pelo azul); de facto, o blog está agora mais graficamente "pesado": o último tinha 34k no total, enquanto este já contra com 58k! Espero que isto não atrase muito o carregamento do site.
Outra coisa: excepcionalmente, a imagem principal foi "scanada" e reorganizada por mim, e não "pedi emprestada" uma imagem a outro site qualquer na net >_<. Na edição, usei sobretudo o Photo Paint, com algum Photoshop para a composição do site.
Também, o layout foi criado para 800x600, mas a primeira imagem, quando é vista nesta resolução, parece bastante grande... isto acontece porque tenho agora o écran do PC a 1024x768, e esta é a resolução activa enquanto trabalho no Photoshop...
Estou a pensar inserir um counter, também. Deve ser para eu ficar deprimida com o número diminuto de pessoas que aqui chegam.
