"After hearing Eminem's songs I wanted to die. He makes me feel I have no place in the world, and I can't understand WHY he gets the support of ANY females, because he does not respect you or me or anyone. Let him say what he wants, but why does everyone listen and pretend he does no harm? He hurts everyone. It's wrong to stuff people into gender roles in either case, male or female. Let his dumb shit die and let young girls live and feel comfortable with themselves."
                                                        --- UNKNOWN
I cannot be sure of whether this is true or not, but I heard Eminem is planning on writing a book about his lyrics, and explaining them.

All I have to say is this, yes he'll probably have arguements (the ones he has now) and more. But that doesn't justify him spreading hatred. I know it'll just be a bunch of lies. Everyone knows he's homophobic and  a jerk. Making a book to cover his ass won't help one bit. If people are going to buy those LIES, then so be it. I know he'll have excuses for everything, but here, I know the truth about him. Even if he does have "explanations" as he might call it, he still spreads hatred and his lyrics are taken the "wrong way" if that's what he means, and he does nothing to stop it.
Anyway, it might not even be true, I dunno. He's annoying, and a liar. So he can go ahead... some of us still know the truth about him and what he stands for.
CELEBRITY EFFECTS: MY LAST STATEMENT
When Eminem originally came out, I ignored him and his music. I thought he was a geek, and I thought his music sucked. I never imagined he'd become so popular. I never even thought about him.

Through some sort of maze of events, he suddenly became popular and "cool" to listen to. Teenagers - always with the fads and styles - rushed in hordes to buy his CD's. And after the politicians, parents, and activist groups hated him - that made him all the more cool to listen to, due to the rebellious nature of it. Even older people seemed to like him.

At last he was so big - no one could help but know about him. I'd never bought his CD's or listened to his songs - and suddenly I knew the lyrics to most of his songs, just through publicity and other people. I knew all about his life and past, thanks to the media. Suddenly I was immersed in him, and knew more than I ever cared to know.

I became angry. As a child I suffered abuse, and lived through devestating life experiences. So did my friends, and many family members. Millions of people are tortured each day by the memories of these types of events. Suddenly, along came this man who was singing about them - and I felt he was mocking me, and slapping me in the face.
When the outrage became too much for him to ignore, he denied the meaning of his words, took things back, lied, and became a hypocrite to his own freedom-of-speech bullshit. He made excuses and found loopholes to justify his hateful words, and people bought it. Because they wanted to.

Angry at him, his songs, and the public (for supporting him), I vented it through a website. I complained about his lyrics, his attitude, and how everyone bought into it. I found loopholes and lies in all his stories, and I believe - did a good job of showing that. I mocked him and insulted him, but ultimately felt no better.

I worked on the website, and did get reaction. Some people loved it, some hated it. Some praised me, some insulted me. Still, I felt little satisfaction. I began to forget about it, and ultimately stopped working on it. I also stopped checking my email.  (My apologies to those of you who wrote me) I won't be checking it any more either, the account is gone.

How do I feel now? I don't hate Eminem, and I don't wish anything  horrible to happen to him. I just think he is a sad, bitter, little man. And I pity him. Sure he's got millions of dollars - but that won't ease his pain. He has a lovely daughter - but she'll grow up to see what sort of things he's said, and what kind of a man he was, and how he treated her mother. And yes, he has fans - but fans are fickle, and when he goes out of fashion - he'll be left in the cold. All he'll have left is himself. And he's a rotten person who is full of anger and hatred and prejudice. Sounds like a nice thing to be left with, huh? He'll be stuck with himself for the rest of his life, and that's the worst thing of all.
I have better things to do with my time, than write about that loser, or even think about him. I don't want to add to his publicity - and at this point, I never even think about him. When I do, I pity him.
He's always going to have fans. But his fans are obviously very ignorant people. They either buy into his lies/hatered/bullshit , they buy into propoganda, or the music industry's latest fads. Either way, they strike me as being very foolish people who are swallowing a whole lot of garbage. That's their problem.
I don't think Eminem stands for free speech, or twisting of words. I think he stands for hatred and intolerance, and I think the "freedom of speech" thing is an excuse, and getting old. If people want to support a person who spreads intolerance and venom - let them go ahead. I'd rather do something to make a POSITIVE difference in this world.

As a last point, I would like to thank many GUYS who supported this site. In all honesty, I expected none to, and support from women instead. But I got  most of my support from men. I appreciate the fact that there are GOOD MEN out there. Men who realize the topics of : murdering women, raping women, murdering gay people, just aren't right. Men who are smart enough not to buy into propoganda, or follow stupid fads, or believe plain old bullshit. Those to me, are REAL MEN. Real men stick up for women, aren't haters, aren't stupid, and know how to treat a lady with respect and dignity. Thank you, to all the real men out there.
