1955 Catalog Cover:  Luger's 3rd Year
This is the earliest cover I've been able to locate.

1956  Catalog Cover:
1956's 23-page catalog featured over 20 models of boat kits, from 8' to 16' long.  It also included several pages of fittings and accessories, including a page of optional finish color "chips".
All the listed models are designed for outboards
(or rowing).  The kits are made of wood, but fiberglass is offered as an optional finish for the boats.

1958 Catalog Cover:
Luger's 6th Year

1959 Catalog Cover:  Luger's 7th Year
This was the first year Luger offered the new fiberglass kit line.  The basic kit came in three pieces: the deck, the hull, and the upper hull.   (But no sailboats.)

1961 Catalog Cover:  Luger's 9th Year
This is the first catalog found that lists a sailboat:
The Flying Cloud - a 14' skimmer.

The catalog image to the left represents the 44-page brochure, while the image below it represents Luger's abbreviated 12-page brochure.
This is the page that descibed the Flying Cloud.

Powerboats models offered in the abbreviated catalog included five 16' Runabouts:
Le Continental with a molded, walk-thru center deck and rear deck with self-bailing motor well.  Royal Lancer with a 16 cubic-foot storage area behind the rear seat-back.  Sierra was the utility model, with forward walk-thro seat-backs and a completely open rear cockpit area.  California had back-to-back walk-thru seats with a compartment inbetween, providing "...a spacious rear cockpit area that is as roomy as all outdoors."  Skylark incorporated backless bench seating.
Luger Industries also offered five 14' Runabouts:  Le Sabre, Jaguar, Javelin, Interceptor, and Marauder.  These models were similar except for seating and cockpit treatments.
