My name is Matt. I am 17 years old and I volunteer with Boundless Playgrounds,an organization that helps communities plan, design and build playgrounds for people of all abilities. I also am involved with National 4-H as part of their Board of Trustees and am a member of the Hartford County 4-H Technology Team. I was recently elected as governor of CT's YMCA Youth and Government program. Also, I am a member of the National Council on Disability's Youth Advisory Committee.
I have a mom, dad, and one brother. My brother is younger than me and we act like brothers all the time. I also have two active dogs that keep me busy.
My friends include Lindsey and Greg F., Alan Z., Jory L., the Andrews, everyone from my high school's drama club and the Redcoat Review, the YMCA Youth Governors and many others. I also want to mention Amy Barzach and the rest of the Boundless Playgrounds crew for continued inspiration and support.
My hobbies and interests include playing games on my computer, public speaking, politics and model rockets. I also love to travel across the country visiting friends and relatives while helping a number of volunteer organizations. I also collect police memorabilia and baseball cards. I love the Boston Red Sox, and enjoy swimming.
