| Welcome to the CASPER Club the most northern Out of School Club on Mainland Britain. We are based within the Primary School in the village of Castletown, Caithness - which is 10 miles from John O'Groats. The Club has been operating for eight years now and is very popular with the local children and parents. We have a dedicated team of staff who run the Club on a day to day basis. The staff are responsible to a Management Committee made up of parents of children at the club.. |

| Casper Club has it's own fully equiped premises within the primary school in Castletown. We provide childcare outwith school hours for children aged 3 - 16 years old. We are a registered charity, owned and managed by a committee made up from the parents of children registered to the club. Comittee members are elected each year at the AGM and oversee the running of the club and employ the team of childcare playworkers. Casper is proud to have achieved Investors in People Status (IIP) yet again this year and is actively working on a three year developmental plan based on the needs and wishes of the users and parents of the club. We have much experience in catering for children with special needs and special dietary needs. We have a well established healthy eating policy that provides a great variety of food options for snack times and for lunches throughout holiday times, with different cultural themes and recipes on a regular basis. Every child that comes to the club is welcomed into a warm and friendly atmosphere with a very strong and dedicated team of childcare professionals to look after them and ensure that they are well-looked after and have a great deal of fun! We have a well-established outings programme throughout the holiday periods where twice a week, a trip out to many local attractions are organised along with one of our childrens' favourite - a weekly visit to the swimming pool for a 'splashing time'!!. |
