The club holds a social night on the first Friday of each month, from 7pm. Members should RSVP the Secretary to attend these. Other club activities require an RSVP to confirm the venue/cost and to ensure catering etc is arranged. There are often other events or activities within the Gay/Lesbian/Trans community (or elsewhere) that club members will attend as a group. Please Email for more information.

I (Jan) handed over the web site reigns in May, but am now back looking after it again. Welcome. Please note the Carrousel Email was abandoned for several weeks, so if you sent an Email and did not get a reply, please contact us again.

I (Jan) am again monitoring the club Email address, and am able to correspond or pass your enquiry on to a committee member, as required.
Apologies but the program details are as received. Please contact a committee member for up to date information . . . Webmistress.
The newsletter editor of the last eight years decided to step down in June 2003. A new newsletter was launched in paper format for August, but it is currently not available on-line.

Fiction - Alison's Computer Pal (originally published in an early Carrousel newsletter)
The main pages have had the font size reduced, and others will be progressively reduced. Please comment to the webmistress if this makes your visit less enjoyable.
August 2002 Newsletter (No. 55)
At the request of the author, all Carol's articles and stories have been removed from the 'Resources' page. Recent articles can still be read in the on-line Newsletters.
June 2002 Newsletter (No. 54)
Geocities are making it more difficult to upload pages and changes, by removing FTP access. Will have to see how tedious this is, but a site move (or a mirror site) is possible. Stay tuned.
Kathy Noble's articles have been added.
April 2002 Newsletter (No. 53)
Added the forms to make it easier to be added to our Email list, or to make a membership enquiry.
February 2002 Newsletter (No. 52) - the colour picture will make this slower than usual to load
December 2001 Newsletter (No. 51)
Please note that Geocities adds two lines of code to the beginning of each page, and this is creating a Javascript error on loading, that some of you will see.
Dr Peter Widdowson Gold Coast gender surgeon
From now on, this section will show all page additions and significant changes. Very little has been done in the last two months, but hopefully November is looking good.
October 2001 Newsletter (No. 50)
Some cosmetic layout changes being made to make the site more readable and friendly. I am now using Homesite 4.0 to compose this html. It is much more user friendly for me.
Several Resource pages were added and the layout altered. Some links were also added.
Some teething problems have been fixed. The mouseovers now work well. I found out that the old Geocities/Hollywood/etc site is still a separate entity to the new 'Yahoo' site. When I use the old Geocities/Hollywood/etc web address, the old site still appeared for two days before it was replaced with the 'new' site. Must be using an enormous amount of computer space if the site is mirrored in this way.
This site was loaded on 30 April. For some time, we have felt that this site has been inadequate, and does not make available the resources we have access to. The original site was developed for the club, but we now have a Webmistress who can build and maintain this site, at least for a while. A development objective is to minimise the number of special effects, so that the time to load a page is less than ten seconds (using a typical home modem). We would like to receive your Email comments about whether we get the mix of site appeal and speed right.
