| Above, a delightful example of the Classic Australian Carnival pattern "Kingfisher" made by Crown Crystal. This is the small 5" (13cm) berry bowl. A variation of this pattern also exists (in both small berries and master berries) with the addition of wattle blossoms on the stems as well as the leaves. Below, you can see the exterior of the berry bowl. Note that there are no mould seams - this item was made from a one piece mould. The base has been ground as the item was "stuck up" on a punty, and not "snapped up". The marie (central section of the base) including the ground flat rim, measures just over 2 1/4" (6 cm).
