Sgt. Clouse was one of 3 men killed on May 25, 1969 with Charlie Troop, 3rd Squadron, 4th Cavalry of the Army's 25th Infantry Division, known as 'Saber Charlie'.  This Unit was a mechanized support group for the Sqdn - with tanks and deadly tracks.  Located in Tay Ninh next to the Cambodian border, this area was well-known for heavy enemy infusion into South Vietnam.

19 Feb 1966 Basic Combat training in Ft. Knox, Kentucky.

6 May 1966 - Advanced Individual Training in Ft. Jackson, South Carolina.

4 Jun 1966 - Lineman - Ft. Gordon, Georgia.

21 Jul 1966 - Security Guard
Pond Barracks, Amberg, Germany.
