Captive Horizon Saddlebreds is a small breeding farm nestled in the foothills of the Mt. Hood National Forest based in
beautiful Estacada, Oregon. Located just 45 minutes east of Portland and 20-30 minutes from Boring and Gresham. The charming
retreat-like farm sits on almost 30 acres, with tons of wooded trails and stunning views.
We are dedicated to raising top quality stock, with the breeding to back them up no matter their future roles. We have and continue to select athletic
individuals that live up to their stellar pedigrees, with careful selection of breeding, performance, and temperament, all of
our horses have that wonderful and natural saddlebred desire to show off and have superb work ethics.
As a small amateur friendly farm we are able to take the time to evaluate and spend time with each individual to assess their
strengths and weaknesses thoroughly, allowing us to create a very balanced program based on those strengths and weaknesses.
Named for the captivating horses we breed and raise, these horses are well suited to the ever growing amateur and juvenile
markets. With good thinking and talented individuals, there is a place for everyone. All the horses are encouraged towards
their natural abilities and preferences, making for happy individuals moving at their own pace.
