oh, we'll take it. Please bring checks payable to "Bridges to
the Community" to the tournament.
Here's what it's all
about:
In February, Boston
ultimate player and med student Kevan Zipin will join several
physicians and the Bridges to the Community non-profit organization in
providing healthcare to the underserved regions in Nicaragua. We
will travel from the city of Siuna and move from region to region offering
free healthcare, vaccinations, and medicines and teaching sanitation in
the most rural areas of the country. With the death rate of children
so high, we will also be surveying villages for the children's most common
ailments.
This tournament is an attempt to
raise the funds for the medicines and equipment we need to provide for an
appropriate level of care. All this is possible because a group of
physicians volunteer and donate weeks of their time and thousands of
people donate the money to help. Help us make this happen again this year
by participating in this touranment. All proceeds go directly to
Bridges to the Community and are tax deductable.

tourney organization, please contact us.
