Our field site has changed to the Lawrence School, 113 Lakeview Avenue, Falmouth, Massachusetts 02540.  Lakeview Avenue runs between Palmer Ave and Gifford Street. 
 
Dogs are allowed if leashed.  No alcohol at the fields, please.  Clean up after yourself and your dog.  Bathrooms are available inside the school-- gym entrance on the right, downstairs.  Before 9:30 am, please use bathrooms at Cape Cod Bagel or gas station/Subway.

From Boston/south shore/north:

  • Route 3 south to Sagamore rotary.  Route 6 west (1st exit off rotary) 3.5 miles along Cape Cod Canal to Buzzards Bay rotary.  Take route 25/28 exit (to right of tugboat), immediately bear right to route 28/Falmouth, go over Bourne Bridge. 
  • OR...Route 3 south to Sagamore rotary. Proceed over Sagamore Bridge.  Stay in right lane over bridge and take first exit.  Go down hill to lights and take a left.  Go 3.5 miles along Cape Cod Canal to Bourne rotary.  Follow Bourne Bridge directions below.
  • OR...Route 24 south to I-495 (exit 14) to route 25 to Bourne Bridge.  Follow Bourne Bridge directions below.
  • Bourne Bridge directions:  There is a rotary on the Cape side of the Bourne Bridge. Take route 28 south to Falmouth (4-lane hwy.) off the rotary .  After 2 miles you'll go through the Otis rotary.  Just stay on 28 south (second exit).  After 8 more miles, the highway become two lanes undivided.  Continue 2 1/2 miles to the lights (Jones Road/Cape Cod Bagel on left, Ter Heun Drive to hospital on right).  Go straight through the lights and take the 5th left onto Laveview Ave about 1/2 mile from lights (just before a white church).  Go 1/10 mile on Lakeview and turn right into the Lawrence School driveway just after flashing school zone sign.  You'll see the tennis courts and fields. 

    • From Providence/CT/NYC/west:

  • From Providence, RI, take route 195 east. Follow signs to Cape Cod, taking exit for route 25 where route 195 ends. This takes you over Bourne Bridge.
  • Bourne Bridge directions:  There is a rotary on the Cape side of the Bourne Bridge. Take route 28 south to Falmouth (4-lane hwy.) off the rotary .  After 2 miles you'll go through the Otis rotary.  Just stay on 28 south (second exit).  After 8 more miles, the highway become two lanes undivided.  Continue 2 1/2 miles to the lights (Jones Road/Cape Cod Bagel on left, Ter Heun Drive to hospital on right).  Go straight through the lights and take the 5th left onto Laveview Ave about 1/2 mile from lights (just before a white church).  Go 1/10 mile on Lakeview and turn right into the Lawrence School driveway just after flashing school zone sign.  You'll see the tennis courts and fields.

    When heading north (off-Cape) on route 28, go to the Clay Pond Road turn-around, exit left, and take an immediate right.
     
    Hospital (from fields)

    Ter Heun Drive, Falmouth.
    Exit parking area by fields and turn left onto Lakeview Ave.  Go 1/10 mile to stop and turn right onto Palmer Ave/route 28.  Follow Palmer Ave to lights and turn left onto Ter Heun Drive.  Hospital is 1/4 mile on the left.
     
    Directions for Cape Cod people:

    FROM WOODS HOLE:
  • Head up Woods Hole Road past Main street in Falmouth (becomes Palmer Ave.). Take Lakeview Ave. (first right after Katherine Lee Bates Road). Field is on the right, near inline tennis courts.

    FROM MAIN STREET, FALMOUTH CENTER:
  • Gifford Street meets Main Street in a T at the lights in front of the fire station.  Head north on Gifford Street for 1/2 mile and turn left on Lakeview Ave before you get to the lights at Jones Road.  Go 3/10 mile, passing the first Lawrence School entrance and tun left into the next driveway (by the tennis courts).

    FROM EAST FALMOUTH/MASHPEE:
  • From the Mashpee rotary, take route 28 toward Falmouth. After 3-4 miles there will be a stop light on the corner of Meetinghouse Way in East Falmouth. Go about .75 miles (pass Fire Station and Library on right) and turn right onto Ox-Bow (sign says 'To Vineyard Ferry'). Bear right onto Brick Kiln Road. Go about 1.5 miles to lights at Gifford Street. Take a left at Gifford and follow to lights at Jones Road. Go straight through lights and take first right onto Lakeview Ave. Lawrence School parking lot is on the left. Field is on the right, near inline tennis courts.

    FROM THE MID & LOWER CAPE:
  • Take route 6 to exit 5. Left off the ramp onto route 149. Take route 149 south about 3.5 mi. to its end at route 28 in Marstons Mills. Take a right onto route 28 and follow about 4.5 miles to the Mashpee rotary. It's on route 28 at Mashpee Commons.
  • From the Mashpee rotary, take route 28 toward Falmouth. After 3-4 miles there will be a stop light on the corner of Meetinghouse Way in East Falmouth.
