the first annual Bernie Caouette Music Scholarship Bluegrass Benefit Show an all~day CELEBRATION in Memory of a dear friend to Bluegrass Music was held on Sunday, October 15th, 2006 at the Athol/Orange Elks Hall in Orange,MA was a huge success!! Thank you to all who supported this effort~Bands  included.... ~the Cowtippers ~ Bean Hill Bluegrass~ ~the Stillhouse Jammers~ ~the Sawyer family Band~ ~Jake Jenkins & Lyle Meador w/the Old Time Bluegrass Singers~the Gibson Bros. ...plus special appearance by King Wilkie !! ... (& of course, they all played Caouette Banjos, custom~made by Bernie!)
