This winding 1/2 mile trail located in Cantril, Iowa has some of the most gruesome sights you will ever endure.
If you survive !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get  ready for thrills and chills as the Cantril Grass Roots Corporation presents: The Haunted Waubonsie Trail.
Now in our 8th season, we've really mixed things up for 2008, so be prepared, for anything can happen. This year the trail will start west of the park, on top of the hill in the Cantril campground.

This is an all-outdoor event, located in "bootiful" Waubonsie Park - Cantril, Iowa - so come prepared for any type of weather. Trail guides will lead you on an all-weather trail for 1/2 mile through woods and around a lake. Over 100 actors and technical staff come together for 3 terrifying nights each year just before Halloween to make your walk something you will be waiting for again year after year.

Cantril is located in Van Buren County, just off Highway 2. Look for the signs.

Some people end up looking like this after eating the witches brew.
Watch out for the dead hangman lurking on the trail.

Keep your eyes open or else Frankenstein might get you.
Talk nice to Captain Hook and share his treasure of gold.

You certainly will be amused by the ghouls roaming among the crowd.
Visit with Dr. Roach Catcher and learn the many tastes that such a bug has.

Take time to walk through the vortex tunnel to see if you can walk out the other end on your feet instead of your head. Enjoy the MIGHTY MAZE.
