Hi there, my name is Made Sangka , I'm a Balinese born in Lombok, one of the 17.000. islands of Indonesia. While still at school I started walking up mountains. Therefore I later on became a trekking guide, first working for Sasak Lombok Tours. Thereafter I was employed as tour leader for Island Adventure Tours organized by the Swiss company "Island Dreams" from Appenzell. I used to take my clients to Java, Bali, Sulawesi, kalimantan, Sumbawa, Komodo, Flores, Lembata, Timor, Sumba and Lombok.

My hobbies are all kinds of sports and photography, but most of all activities involving adventure like trekking, diving and hunting. My working experience on tourism, research and filming, combined with impressions from trips to Germany, Belgium, France and Switzerland acquainted me with the Western type of thinking. Therefore I am well prepared to translate the enigmatic magic of Indonesia into the Western way of thought.
